There are currently several Stewardship ministries representatives across Canada specifically trained to deliver ‘The Leaders Triad’ seminar to churches, ministry partners, camps, and schools.
The Leader’s Triad™
Overview
The Leader’s Triad™ is a leadership program that addresses three key topics that affect a leader’s effectiveness, a leadership team’s impact, and an organization's outcomes. Each topic,
The Power of Clarity,
The Power of the Individual and
The Power of the Team function together as a complete training experience or can be taken as individual 3-hour modules.
The triangle has become the primary building block for many of the world’s most complex structures, due to its great structural strength and integrity. Similarly, church leadership requires a foundation of strength and skill as leaders guide ministries whose outcomes have eternal significance. The volunteer nature of churches and not-for-profit organizations increases the complexity and demands of leadership. The Leader’s Triad™ develops the understanding, skills, and behaviours necessary to meet these challenges.
The Program
The Leader’s Triad™ consists of three 3-hour components:
♦The Power of Clarity
♦The Power of the Individual
♦The Power of Team
The Power of Clarity
Clarity is unquestionably a leadership trait that impacts our effectiveness. Through an experiential exercise known as Configurations™, participants are challenged to achieve 100% accurate understanding as quickly and efficiently as possible. Using only a board, some geometric shapes, and their communication skills, teams compete to achieve absolute clarity. Using a case study The Power of Clarity explores how we communicate and how participants can apply this learning back to their team setting and leadership responsibilities. Specific attention is given to: organizational clarity, objectives and outcomes, and the importance of excellent communication and feedback with the organization.
The Power of the Individual
An essential leadership skill is the ability to harness the potential of others. This module of the Leader’s Triad™ begins with a discussion of the differences between respect and esteem. Through video and an exercise designed to uncover personal awareness, participants are introduced to behaviours necessary to draw potential from others. This module carefully explores the participant’s values regarding leadership and how the behaviours of team members impact the engagement and contribution of every team member.
The Power of Team
To ensure teams are effective and productive, leaders must be able to take advantage of the potential within their team. Leaders are first introduced to The CORNERSTONES of Teamwork™, a tangible tool that bridges the gap between the team concept and team practice. They then have an opportunity to practice their team skills, through a fun, experiential exercise entitled Fira Tora™.
Fira Tora™ is a newly-constructed underground transport system. By applying the principles of The CORNERSTONES™, the participant's' role is to test the system to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Through hands-on experience, leaders will use team principles to plan, execute, diagnose, and improve their team’s performance. In the debrief, participants discuss the skills necessary to direct teams toward high impact teamwork within your organization.

Practical Details
♦An 8-9 hour session for the Leader’s Triad™ (can be done in one or two days)
♦Modules of the Leader’s Triad™ may be used independently in 3-hour blocks.
♦Groups of 10 – 40 people.
♦Appropriate for anyone in leadership.
♦Sessions facilitated by Stewardship ministries representatives are offered free of charge to those interested in taking advantage of this seminar.
